On 3 October 2019, on the occasion of the inaugural conference of Global Tax Advisers Platform (GTAP) in Turin, AOTCA, being one of the GTAP founding bodies and as represented by its President, Atty. Euney Marie J. Mata-Perez, together with CFE Tax Advisers Europe (CFE) and Western African Union of Tax Institutes (WAUTI) signed the “Torino-Busan Declaration”. The signing also coincided with the 60th anniversary of CFE.
On 17 October 2019, during the 2019 AOTCA International Tax Conference held in Busan, Korea, the Declaration was signed again by Ms. Mata-Perez and Prof. Piergiorgio Valente, the President of CFE. The signing was witnessed by the President of the Korean Association of Certified Public Tax Accountants, Mr. Won, Kyeong Hei.
In the declaration, GTAP sets out four key short-term priorities to pursue its fundamental purpose: the promotion of public interest by ensuring the fair and efficient operation of national and international tax systems.
The four priorities highlighted in the Declaration are as follows.

- Sustainable Tax Policies
- Tax and Digitalisation
- Taxpayers’ Rights and Certainty in a Fast-Paced World
